Our consultants will be spending time in the field generating leads, participating in systems education to prospective  customers about  their energy consummation utility usage to plan and prepare systems proposals.
 
The success profile of skills and experience required for this position includes:

Knowledge of company products-system designs
Four year college degree a plus
Solar integration sales experiences preferred
3 years of complex transactional selling experience required
Strong selling and closing skills
Technical and detail oriented
Construction / project management sales background
Strong command of computer skills
Good verbal and written communication skills

The solar energy sales consultant responsibilities and duties are as follows:

General Sales lead generator: ie: advertising, multi-media, ads, trade shows, contracts, and business calls.
Having strong closing techniques, reviewing with the client the advantages involved in purchasing the renewable Energy products.
Sizing the solar system to meet the needs  and demands of the client
Be a viable presence in the community networking through the various county fairs, trade shows, Utility programs etc.

Sharpe is looking for experienced  individuals  to work in the field installing hot water, solar electrical and pool heating systems.  Candidates should have a working knowledge of both plumbing, electrical practices and codes. Troubleshooting, critical thinking skills and professionalism are essential.

Installers must have exceptional teamwork skills, but also be able to show initiative and to work autonomously.

Candidates should have reliable transportation   with a clean driving record.

Successful candidates should be knowledgeable of relevant NEC requirements, have strong work ethics, with good problem solving skills. Expect to develop your skills to greater level as you work in the field. You will install in all sorts of inclimate weather.  Fitness is a must.  The installer will use a full range of body movements in order to achieve a successful installation.  The full range includes but not limited to pushing, kneeling, standing, bending over, lifting frequently, climbing on roofs, and stooping.
